This explains what Parkint collects, why, and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal padding.

This is the part people most want to understand, so here it is in full.
You are responsible for telling people that cameras are in use, and for displaying any signage your local law requires. Some states and cities have specific rules about cameras in public and semi-public places.
Only the companies that help us run the service, and only what they need: our hosting provider, which stores the database, and map providers, which receive a location in order to draw a map. If the law requires it, we may have to share information with authorities.

You can delete your account yourself, in the app under Account, or at https://parkint.org/account/delete. No need to email anyone or wait for us.
If you live in California, you also have rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be treated differently for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.
Parkint is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Traffic is encrypted. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and we will tell affected people promptly if something goes wrong.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will tell account holders directly.
